The Wyoming Blues & Jazz Society is pleased to present Another Kind of Magick in concert, Sat May 12 at the Attic.

As our representatives in the International Blues Challenge this year they made it all the way to the finals, making them one of the top 9 bands in the International competition. They return to give us a "thank you" concert in appreciation of your generous support in helping them make the trip to Memphis. Don't miss this one as it may be awhile before we are able to have them back-these young men are moving up in the music world.
Show starts at 8, doors open 7:30. 21 and up only. Tickets are $10 for members, $12 for non-members, available at Sonic Rainbow, the Art of Coffee or Yankee Clipper. To reserve a front and center table for 4 ($100) call Lou at 259-8725.

Curtis Salgado at the Attic, Friday Aug 3rd

“Triumphant, joyful blues-soaked R&B...one of the most soulful, honest singers ever” –Blues Revue. If you have ever seen Curtis perform , you know this is a true statement.
We are very pleased to present this outstanding artist. His routing to the Blue Star Blues Festival in Littleton, CO on Aug 4th made Casper a convenient gig for him, and we didn't hesitate at this chance to bring him.

Curtis just released a new cd, Soul Shot, that you can preview on his website www.curtissalgado.com. While there, check out his most interesting biography, and watch a video of him performing at the 2009 Blues Music Awards. He won the 2010 Soul Blues Aritst of the Year, and is nominated again this year.

One of our members, who has seen many more blues artists than most of us, said Curtis was the best live perfomance she has ever seen!
Details will be available closer to the concert date, but be sure to mark you calendar now. Summer is busy, and you don't want to miss this one.
